Alarma de temperatura TempTek Plus: The TempTek+Plus is an 'entry level' Overtemperature Alarm which comprises of the Control Unit connected by a Leader Cable to the Temperature Sensor and is provided with an LED Indicator, a Sounder and a Mute Button. The Temperature Sensor is rated for temperature band 0 to 30°C.
The Control Unit can be inside or remote to the monitored area and is linked to the Temperature Sensor by a two core Signal Cable. The Temperature Sensor is of the ‘tamper-resistant’ type and provides an internal adjustment for the setting of the desired trip temperature.
When the Sensor reaches the overtemperature level, the light on the TempTek+Plus Controller activates, the Output Relay activates, and both remain on while the Sensor continues to be in alarm. The horn also sounds and can be muted by pressing the Mute Button. The horn then automatically resets.
The control system, the alarm light and the output relay automatically reset but only when the temperature returns to normal.
The TempTek+Plus module can be manufactured for either a 110 or 240V AC mains supply, 24V AC/DC, or separately for 9VDC supply from the 'PP3' type of battery. Power consumption is approximately 7mA on ‘standby’ and 30mA in ‘alarm’ with LED and relay energised. A 'No-Volt' output signalling relay is optional (rated 240VAC 2amp) with 'Normally Open/Closed' change-over contacts.
The TempTek housing has rear and sideway knockouts, or can be fitted with standard glands. The Leader Cable distance between the TempTek and the temperature sensor should not exceed 50m. Connections to a BMS or a Remote Alarm system is direct to the TempTek optional relay terminal block.
Multizone Overtemperature Alarm TempTek4 and TempTek2S: The Aqualeak TempTek4 is an entry level multizone Overtemperature Alarm with one to four zones of audio/visual alarm and indication but is not provided with battery backup or line monitoring. TempTek can be configured for the number of zones required.
The Aqualeak TempTek2S (shown left) is a Two-Stage Overtemperature Alarm, designed for important areas such as computer rooms, comms rooms, server rooms, plant rooms etc. The TempTek Controller can be located inside or remote to the monitored area and would be connected by leader cable to the temperature sensors. The temperature sensors can either be located together, and could then be connected by a common multicore leader cable, or for zonal alarms, the sensors would be located separately in different locations, and would be connected separately. Cables can be supplied to length required. In cases where the leader cable route/length is not known precisely, the leader cable would be provided in bulk to be cut and terminated on site.
The temperature sensors are normally of the ‘tamper-resistant’ type which provide an internal adjustment for the setting of the desired trip temperature. Alternatively, optional adjustable powered digital temperature readout sensors can be provided which indicate the temperature at the location of the sensor. Temperature sensors are rated for temperature band 0 to 35°C.
Each zone of the TempTek 4 and the TempTek 2S is provided with local audible and visual alarms via zone LED alarm indicators, an internal sounder and an external mute button. The unit is provided with a 'common alarm' output changeover relay rated at 230VAC 8amp and can also be provided with optional individual zone change-over signalling relays rated 230VAC 2amp. When an alarm condition is detected by the sensor, the indicator illuminates, the horn sounds and the internal signalling relay/s activate. The horn can be muted by pressing the mute button but the indicator will remain illuminated until the condition clears, when it automatically resets.
BMS Interface Overtemperature Alarm: OTF 1: The OTF system is a range of Overtemperature Alarms specifically designed for Computer Rooms and other similar technical areas which require notification to the Building Management System of out-of-limit temperature conditions. The OTF Module is the smaller unit shown top left of the picture.
The OTF BMS Module is an alarm interface type unit which has no audio/visual alarms but which provides changeover contacts to a BMS system or to other alarm systems. The OTF+Plus Module (shown) is also available having audio/visual alarms and which is fitted with three additional LED indicators (advising Power On, Alarm, and Line Fault), and also an internal horn and a mute button. The OTF controller can be manufactured for either a 110V or 240V AC supply, or 24V AC supply (optional 12 - 24V AC or DC). The system is provided with a 'no-volt' output signalling relay (rated 230VAC 2 amp) with 'normally open/closed' change-over contacts. Optional Power and Fault changeover relays can also be provided.
The OTF System comprises of the OTF control unit connected by a signal cable to an adjustable temperature sensor. The temperature sensor can be either the ‘tamper-resistant’ type with internal adjustment for the setting of the desired trip temperature, or alternatively can be an adjustable Digital Temperature Readout Sensor which indicates the temperature at the location of the sensor. The temperature trip points are adjustable and when the area reaches the overtemperature level, the relay in the OTF Controller activates, and remains on while the sensor continues to be in alarm. The alarm will automatically reset when the temperature returns to normal.
The OTF System can also be supplied composite with the Aqualeak SoloDial SD1and fitted to the top of the Autodial cabinet (as shown). The system would then be supplied pre-wired and pre-connected. The power supply for the OTF would come internally from the AutoDial Unit. The Battery Backup, if fitted to the AutoDial, would therefore be shared, making both units operative in the event of power failure.
BMS Interface Overtemperature Alarm: OTMA 1: The OTMA single zone Overtemperature Alarm has been designed for applications where Battery Backup is required in important areas such as computer rooms, comms rooms, server rooms, plant rooms etc., where it is important for the system to remain operative in the event of power failure.
OTMA system comprises of the control unit connected by a leader cable to the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is rated for temperature band 0 to 30°C. The Control unit can be inside or remote to the monitored area and is linked to the temperature sensor by a two core leader cable.
The temperature sensor is normally of the ‘tamper-resistant’ type and provides an internal adjustment for the setting of the desired trip temperature. Alternatively an optional digital temperature readout sensor can be provided which indicates the temperature at the location of the sensor.
When the room reaches the overtemperature level, the light on the OTMA Controller activates, and remains on while the sensor continues to be in alarm. The horn on the OTMA also sounds and can be muted by pressing the mute button, and the horn then automatically resets. The control system and alarm light also automatically reset when the temperature returns to normal.
The Controller is provided with a 'no-volt' output signalling relay (rated 230VAC 2 amp) providing change-over contacts which can link to the Aqualeak AutoDial Unit. The OTMA can also be provided with optional Power and Continuity Fail output Relays.
The system can alternatively be configured as the OHMA to provide overhumidity monitoring from a humidity sensor.
Multifaceted Environmental Alarm: OGW: The OGW Environmental Alarm Systems are designed to monitor computer rooms, server rooms, plant rooms or other critical technical areas to provide combined security against damage caused by water leaks, overtemperature, over humidity, mains failure, fire etc. - all in one unit , which can optionally telephone remote locations identifying which alarm has triggered. The OGW Control System is available in three cabinet sizes, 1 to 8 alarms/zones, 1 to 16 alarms/zones and 1 to 32 alarms/zones, and can be made to the specific number of zones required.
The OGW Unit can be used as a single or multizone OVERTEMPERATURE ALARM SYSTEM monitoring from adjustable Tamperproof or Digital Readout Temperature Sensors rated for temperature band 0 to 35°C. HUMIDITY MONITORING would be from adjustable Humidity Sensors rated for humidity band 30-100 %RH. WATER LEAK DETECTION can be provided from either Linear Sensor Cables or Tape, or from Spot Pad or Probe Sensors. Aqualeak manufacture a range of specialised Sensors including OIL LEAK DETECTION Probes. FIRE DETECTION would be from an independent Fire Detection Sensor linked to and powered directly from the OGW Unit. MAINS FAILURE would be monitored from an internal mains failure module.
When any room environmental condition reaches an alarm state, the appropriate zone light on the Controller would illuminate. The horn would sound and can be muted, but the zone light remains on until the alarm is cleared. Two ‘Common Alarm’ relays are provided for remote alarm and shutdown purposes. Optional Individual Zone Signalling Relays, optional Mains Fail Relay and optional Battery Backup is also available.
The Control Unit can be inside or remote to the monitored area and would be linked to the Sensors by Leader Cable. The OGW System can be provided with an optional analogue Autodial which can ring home in the event of problems and advise which alarm has triggered. An optional Repeat Alarm Unit can also be provided to be located remotely to provide audio/visual alarms elsewhere.
Single Zone Repeater Alarm Module : RA+Plus: The RA single zone Remote Repeat Alarm is a miniature annunciator designed as a stand-alone module powered from a local external mains or a 'low voltage' power supply. The RA is fitted with incoming terminals for linking to remote alarm sources and can accept an alarm signal from a 'clean N/V Relay' in the alarm source being monitored.
When contacts within the alarm source close, the light on the RA activates. The light remains on all the time that the alarm source remains in alarm. The horn sounds and can be muted by pressing the Mute Button.
RA Units are fully self re-setting on acknowledgement of the horn by pressing the mute button and require no further operator re-set. The horn automatically reactivates after any previous muting operation.
The RA Module can be used to provide onward signalling when fitted with the optional 'No-Volt' output signalling relay (rated 240VAC 2amp) with 'Normally Open/Closed' change-over contacts (and can be provided with an optional relay facilities for 'Line Fault' and 'Power Failed', both rated 240VAC 2amp). This can be used to link to a secondary single zone alarm or to link to a BMS System.
A local mains power supply is required to power the module, or a mains power cable link needs to be taken from the main alarm. The RA module can be manufactured for either 110 or 230V AC mains supply, or 12/24V AC supply. Power consumption is approximately 30mA on ‘run’ and 50mA in ‘alarm’ with relay energised.
Normally a leader cable would connect the controller to the alarm source and should be connected to 'normally open' no-volt contact in the alarm source being monitored.
Four Zone Annunciator Alarm Panel : AR4: The AR4 Alarm Repeat Module is a four zone miniature Repeat Alarm Unit designed to provide remote audio-visual alarms from any monitored source which is fitted with alarm signalling 'clean no-volt' relay/s. Can be sized for the specific number of zones required.
The AR4 Module requires to be powered from a local external mains supply and uses a low voltage signal link to connect to the monitored source. Each zone is provided with audible and visual alarms via zone LED Alarm Indicators, an internal Sounder and an external Mute Button.
A Leader Cable would connect the Controller to the alarm source and should be connected to 'normally open' no-volt contact in the alarm source. When contacts within the alarm source close, the light on the AR4 activates. The light remains on all the time that the alarm source remains in alarm. The horn sounds, and can be muted by pressing the Mute Button.
AR4 Module is fully self re-setting on acknowledgement of the horn and requires no further operator re-set. The horn automatically reactivates after any previous muting operation.
The AR4 Module can be used to provide onward signalling when fitted with the optional 'No-Volt' output signalling relays (rated 240VAC 2amp) with 'Normally Open/Closed' change-over contacts. This can be used to link to a secondary Repeat Alarm Modules or to link to a BMS System.
Multi Zone Repeater Alarm Module : RAA: The RAA System is a range of Annunciator Panels comprising a fully self-contained Alarm System available in three cabinet sizes, 1 to 8 alarms/zones, 1 to 16 alarms/zones and 1 to 32 alarms/zones, and can be made to the specific number of zones required. All units are fitted with terminals for linking to the remote alarms, which can be No-Volt Relays or Switches. The RAA system as standard requires to monitor Normally Open contacts. (Monitoring of Normally Closed contacts is an optional extra and would require separate configuration).
When contacts within the alarm source close, the light on the RAA activates. RAA Units have three levels of indication for each zone; green LINE HEALTHY, red – LINE FAULT and flashing red ALARM DETECTED. The audible alarm is activated by any abnormal condition, ‘latches-on’, and is silenced by pressing the mute button. When the Mute Button is pressed the System will automatically reset, requiring no further operator input, but alarm lights remain on until the condition clears. An additional light indicates MAINS FAILURE, and a LAMP TEST Light and Test Button indicate the condition of indicator lights. RAA Units require a mains power supply and utilise a 5V signal to link to the alarm sources. The Link would be by a two core Leader Cable which can be supplied to length. The RAA can also monitor line continuity of the Leader Cable to the remote alarm source by fitting a Diode across the remote No-Volt Relay. If the line is cut, the RAA will raise a " Line Fault " Alarm.
RAA Units can be supplied with an optional Battery Backup Pack to enable the system to continue functioning for 10 hours under full alarm conditions during a mains power failure. The System is provided as standard with two ‘Common Alarm' no-volt changeover relays which operate on an alarm being detected by any zone. These can be linked to a further Aqualeak Repeater Panel, or be linked into a Building Management system, or can be used to shut power, or shut water supplies via matched solenoid valves, or switch on sump pumps/drainage systems etc. The RAA System can also be supplied with optional Individual Zone Signalling output relays which would provide appropriate zone alarms via individual no-volt changeover relays, and Mains Power fault signalling via a further no-volt changeover relay. All RA Units can be linked to our Automatic Telephone Dialling Units which can advise remote locations out-of-hours that an emergency has occurred. |
